Video Production Project Implementation

Each and every step of the process of video production project development is designed in a proper way. Still there is one aspect that is missing from the plan. This missing point is to check and balance. The video developers make an effort to involve every from every department, so they can provide correct information to design the video, the management ensures that everyone from each department should perform their roles. But, they did not make any effort to ensure that the resource that they invite would complete their task in giving time or not. There is no implementation of check and balance in this program. Finally, decide what you’re trying to achieve in terms of your business goals.

There is a possibility in which the whole length of the video production project implementation phase would reduce without eliminating any task. The way in which this is possible is by increasing the number of resources involved in the project. By inviting more resources, the different tasks would be delegated to many people. Furthermore, the time period can also be reduced by shortening the time of briefing and meeting phase.

There are a number of ways in which the quality of the project can be improved. The most important aspect to bring quality in the project is to immediate checks and feedbacks. This should be done in each and every phase of the project. For instance, if the manager of any department is preparing the requirement list then he should follow the list in his or her department to get multiple views of the users. This would be extremely important for the implementation phase. Just after the development of a program it should be available for users and immediate feedbacks and responses should be gauged from the resource.

Almost all the new projects involve a number of risks. The most crucial risk that an organization can face is the risk whether the new system would work or not. The way in which management can reduce the risk is that of proper testing. Initially the organization should prefer to develop programs and software on a small scale then test them and if it works successfully then they should implement it in the whole organization. Secondly, management should make an attempt to gain advice of the industry experts to develop the project flawlessly.

In order to ensure that, all the objectives that are set should be completed it is important that the management should implement the process of proper check and balance. There should be a proper check, balance and control at each and every phase of the project. At every designed activity, the management should check that whether this task has completed on time or not. A system of proper check and control would trace the level of target compliance. In this way, the organization would not only be able to fulfil all the objectives but it would also allow the organization to timely implement of the objectives.

Face Recognition in Video

The animated video consists of many characters being part of the video. To get the perfect face of the character you’ve seen live, you must go through the face recognition techniques. The biometric access control methods are gaining more and a wider circle of supporters. Today, the systems not only identify people by fingerprints, but also on the basis of DNA recognition that is based on the facial image. Nevertheless, these methods are still being researched upon in order to ensure reliability. There are several problems in these systems; the most common among them it that this system is easy to be manipulated to show the front of the camera image of the person that is entitled to access. There are many research underway to identify the validity and reliability of these systems and the authenticity of the AI procedures used. The aim of this method is to implement a simple algorithm which allows the location of the face recognition and then compare it with other animation techniques. Through this procedure the patterns recognition concept will be implemented in the procedure of face recognition.

The first step in faces recognition process is the process to explore the location. Proper execution of this step is essential for the proper conduct of face recognition. In order to conduct this process the very simple yet effective way is to use the measurements representing the probability that is given colour pixels of the human face. The next process is to take compare and correlate that probability with the threshold set for the image. A white color is potentially assigned to the pixels belonging to the face to be recognized and black is assigned to the rest of the areas.

The second model used is more resistant to the presence of areas with uniform colour. After comparing the threshold of the image in terms of probability belonging to each pixel of the human face image; the results revealed black and white image. Pixels belonging to potentially face are white and the rest of the image is black. One can now determine the parameters of the frame contained in the process of face recognition. This involves following steps:
  •         Divide the image on the vertical stripes having the width of 5 pixels
  •         Calculate the number of white pixels in each bar
  •         Find the largest cluster of vertical bars; where the white dots are above the accepted threshold
  •         Perform the same procedure in horizontal strips analysis

One can obtain the parameters that related to the enclosure of the face through different models. The important thing to be noticed is the fact that the image of the sample face has identified to have the same size as the patterns in the video. There might have been changes in lighting which may an impact on the value of colour components. The study of face recognition consisted of image selection related to a sample and then the sample was compared to other photos with created by the model using the face recognition techniques.

Negative Impact of Reality Television Shows!

Videos have great impact on the mind of the viewers. Commercial video production takes into account a lot of aspects as they are to be viewed publicly. Like reality shows makes people talk about moral and values attached to a television program which it normally breaks with no effort. Although these shows are called reality shows but there link with the reality is very limited. These shows can be categorized as reality shows on the basis that they perform or act without any script but it has nothing to do with real life. Just like any movie, flick or drama these shows also involve dramatic and exaggerated scenes and acts. The video productions of this type make us believe what’s not even true.

If reality shows portray real life events it would be beneficial for viewers. Portrayal of real life events in these reality shows would enable the viewers to gain a handful of information and experience from these shows. On the contrary, illogical and irrational events and acts have no linkage with real life would not be of any use for the viewers. Reality television shows are detrimental to society because they influence bad behaviour among teenagers. These programs often show young individuals that break the law, drink alcohol, are disrespectful to people around them, and are in bad situations. Many young viewers are influenced by these individuals who take part in reality shows and look up to them.

Some video production individuals are such big fans of the stars in some of these shows that they mimic them. The popular saying "monkey see, monkey do" definitely applies to this controversy. These shows make it seem as if everyone is acting in the way that the characters in the show act. Instead of providing viewers with encouragement to pursue a better education and to act responsibly, many of these programs portray actors to act irresponsibly. Some experts believe that this could lead to many more irresponsible individuals. America's society is weakened because of the harmful effects these reality television programs have on teenagers.

All the reasons we discussed are strong enough to prove the idea that reality TV shows are exploiting morals and values of our society. One should not ignore the fact that these reality shows are also beneficial in more than one way. Many shows like the top chef, Stylista and the apprentice are shows that may help individuals in enriching themselves with experience. Moreover, they also provide immature to learn to act as a team. On the other hand, they also create damages to the moral and values of the society. In a nutshell, it can be declared that the advantages that these reality shows provide are less than the damages that these shows cause to the morals and values of the society. To cultivate benefits from these shows one must adopt a neutral approach and devise a program that would be a perfect epitome of entertainment without any harm to the morals and values of the society.

Got Your Camera? What’s Next?

Choosing the right kind of camera doesn’t get the job done. You have to have the right kind of equipment to support the brilliance of camera features. Here are the essentials to keep you going in the right direction.

Computer:
Now let’s come towards editing part.  Do you need a fancy kind of computer to be able to do the editing of the videos? Or to be able to process the videos? If you’ve got a computer that’s about 2-3 years old, that should do the job. Obviously, faster and newer your computer is, the better. These solutions are both for PC and laptops. It doesn’t matter if you’re on a PC or laptop, these cameras will work beautifully on both.

Software:
Lastly, let’s talk about the software you’ll need for editing your video. There are different set of software that you will need for PC and Mac.
·         Software for PC: if you’re on windows, then it should come with free software called ‘moviemaker’.  It’s a pretty cool software you can use but since it's free, it's quite limited. ‘Sony Vegas Video Studio HD’ is next on our recommendation list.
·         Software for Mac: it also comes with a free software iMovie which is great software for video editing. If you can notch up your budget a bit up, then get yourself a copy of ‘screenflow’.

Extras:
What about some extras? There are a couple of other things that you either need or not, it's totally up to you. If you want to get the sound quality of your video better, then we recommend you to use an external microphone. Unfortunately with the cheaper camera they don’t always have an external microphone jack. The Kodak Zi8 does come with an external microphone jack which you can plug your microphone into. The Canon 550D has an external microphone jack as well, and you can use it for that purpose. When you use an external microphone, the sound is a lot better.

The other thing to think about is your lighting. Basically, the better lighting you have, the less high quality camera you will need in that scenario. Vice versa, if you have a better camera, the lighting requirement becomes less. But, for the smaller and cheaper cameras like we mentioned before, you may need some extra lighting, especially if you’re recording indoor, it just lids up your object a bit more. For that purpose, you can use household lights and lamps but make sure the light shines on your face and exposes your skin.

However, if you want to take this to the next level, you can buy construction lights that are cheaper and provide great results. And, if you wish to raise the level higher, you can get florescent light which is bit more expensive because they are used for professional purposes. Of course, if you don’t want to use lights, you can always record outside in natural sunlight. On a nice and sunny day, you can get pretty good lighting conditions to suit your requirements.

Tips for Recording, Editing, Exporting and Embedding Video on Website!

After knowing the right equipments you need to record your video, you must now get an idea how to embed video on your website after recording, editing, and uploading it to YouTube. In this article, we will get into the details of doing each task properly.

Recording:
So, let’s get into the first point, how to record your video? The first thing to think about is how to set up your camera. One thing that’s crucial at that point is the background. The professional way of doing that is getting a clear white background so viewers don’t get distracted with other things. It also allows you to put images and text on the other side while something is explained during the video to help prove your point. Another thing to be concerned about is your lighting. You may be recording in daytime or in a room that already has natural light, just make sure whatever you’re recording is getting enough light. If you’re recording in a studio, you will require a bunch of lighting equipment. It can help you with the recording quality much better.
Another important point is to leave pauses right in the beginning and in the end, as it helps you in the editing phase. It makes sure your recording doesn’t get cut during the editing phase.

Editing:
The next stage is to start editing your recording on your computer. Make sure that the camera you used for recording has a USB jack to connect it to your computer. That helps a lot in transferring your files into your PC or laptop. For editing, the major tip would be to add tiles. It’s not important but it brings ease in the process, so whatever software you’re using for editing purpose, you must look for titles. The other things that you can use are fade-ins, and fadeouts. Add 1-2 second fade-in at the beginning, and fade out at the end. Besides that, you can also use cuts in your video, as it will help you zoom-in and zoom-out and give a perception that you’re using different cameras. Often, using a little bit of music in the video also make it look professional.

Exporting:
The next stage is to export it to the right format. It’s a really important step otherwise the quality of your video will not be that good. There are different settings for different software to get a video exported in various formats. Once you’ve exported your video to the right format, you’re ready to upload it to the internet. Make an account on YouTube and get your video uploaded so it can allow others to watch your video.

Embedding:
The final stage is to embed your video on your website. This is really straight forward, all you have to do is go to the video page, and right below your video on the YouTube, look for the embed code. It could be a little button or a link, and you basically have to copy that code into your website. To optimize the embed code, un-tick the box that says related videos. It will not take your visitors go away from you to watch other related videos.
